Your plants need water, yes, but they also need nutrition, especially if they are indoors ! One easy and pratically free way to both is this : The EGGSHELLS TEA ! Basically, you used your egg(s) for doing a natural shampoo or mask, you used the egg white left at the bottom to do a face mask and you are about to through the rest away in your trash, or better, in your compost ! Stop right there my friend ! There is one more use you can make of that egg ! Eggshells are primarily made out of calcium carbonate, an excellent nutriment for your plants. Take the shells and put them in a bowl/cup and pour boiling water over it. Let it infuse and cool down (really important, putting boiling water on your plants would kill them) overnight and use it to water your plants, indoor or outdoors. You can even break up the shells into a powder and mix the crushed shells in the soil of your plants. |
